Girl Scouts Four Focus Areas

Girls go green through local and national projects with the Girl Scout Forever Green program, which encourages girls to take action for their environment. Planting flowers for the community and building ‘Purple Martin’ houses to prevent the use of pesticides in a school garden are two of the ways Central Texas girls are going green.

Girls go strong in a number of ways. From earning their Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting to hiking to the Appalachian Trail, Girl Scouts rise to the occasion in a variety of circumstances.

Girls go creative through collaboration with businesses and organizations that promote artistic expression. Teen Girl Scouts used their vision and the help of a local studio to write and produce a PSA for a girl-led conference.

Girls go tech through our Girl Scout STEM and EDGE programs. Programs include FIRST Lego League and FIRST Robotics Competitions, which Central Texas Girl Scouts have received multiple awards.
